Teenager Summer Programme (14-17 years)

I did level 1 with teacher Paula for 4 weeks and it was a great learning experience.

It was never boring, Paula kept us sharp and had a lot of energy and humor.

I liked that the group was small and there was really enough personal attention for everyone.

I really learned a lot from Paula and now I can also speak a little Spanish.

I will come back in November to start level 2

Everything was good in general but i have to say for me at least we had to drive a lot as I didn't stay at a stay at home family so I was very far away from the school which wasn't fortunate in my case. Another thing that bothered me was the break, it was too short to buy a snack and eat it so we all ate in class. I very liked the way the learning was presented and the after school activities were nice as well.

Everyone was friendly and very helpful - this included the teachers and administrative staff. Location was good. Downside was mask wearing. Made it difficult to hear and to see the teachers and other students properly. Face shields probably more suitable for learning. Classes tended to start a little late as did the tree turn from breaks but always finished at designated time.

First of all I would like to thank the school for the great experience. For me everything was much more then I expected.

The school is very nice, everybody so helpful and kind! The teachers were great. I took 2 week Spanish and i was surprised how much I learned. I can't wait to come back for the 3rd week in September ... The method of teaching is very good and the small classes are for sure a plus. The activities after school were looking very nice, but because I started a company in Spain i could not participate..needed to work after school...hopefully next time.

We have been impressed with TLCdénia from day 1. The classes are well-organized, they move along at a good pace, and also contain revision and plenty of speaking practice. Our teacher, Jesús, is very good. He communicates grammar and context very effectively while using only Spanish 99% of the time, and his knowledge of grammar is deep. The location is convenient and the school is nice and modern, with comfortable classrooms and resources. We liked the first week so much that we signed up for an additional 4 weeks!

Fun and enthusiastic teachers, varied range of learning materials, pleasant environment classrooms. By many different nationalities of the fellow students also interesting information about current affairs in the different European countries. Moreover, because of this also 'language of instruction' in the classroom: Spanish. I have experienced as very pleasant.

The classes were quite demanding for me because my communicative skills were not good as my grammar skills. The nivel test didn't give an actual presentation of my skills in this accord.
The teacher was competent but liked to talk bit too much.
The location of the school was perfect.
The facilities were neat but narrow. And there were not enough toilets.
I didn't take part to any activities because they were few and not very interesting.

Despite of all my complaints, I liked my staying at TLCdenia language school and I learned a lot.

I think that the teachers were professionals. The location of the school was good. In my Group were 5 students which was ideal.

The one sentence expresses my experience enough, though the coffee was terrible and only one toilet to be used by every one is by far not sufficient and gives too little privacy.

I liked the attention of the teachers. They we're really interested and had patience. The classes were small (4-5 students), which made it easier to actively participate. Because of the season (ather summer) i think the activities were not that crowded but okay.

One thing which could be improved is the lesson material. A lof of photo-copies could be exchanged by a (little) book together with a bloknote to make notes.

Like I said above, it was good. We did not engage in any social activities, so we cannot rate the subject.

Everything was fine. We started speaking Español, and we communicated with local people.

I had the opportunity to study at TLCdénia twice to learn Spanish and English. The whole team is very professional and friendly, teachers are dynamic and provide you all the tools to accomplish your goals. In my case, I passed a C2 DELE ( Spanish ) and B2, First Certificate in English.
All this without panic or stress because I had been well prepared throughout the classes and informed by TLC as the team worked on the exams, apart from having personal attention because I also wanted private lessons. TLCdénia offers incredible value for money as well as provides activities for us to enjoy all the good that this charming town of Dénia can offer. I encourage everyone to explore and discover at TLC Dénia. I'll take this opportunity here to leave a big hug for the whole TLC team.
Great school, great team! Learning, professionalism, knowledge and joy was what I found in this school, where with the help of all the professionals who work there I could reach my goals. 100% recommended!
